B. Pharm admission:

B. Pharm is an undergraduate degree that is offered for a duration of 4 years.

Criteria:

Eligibility for admission to the B. Pharmacy program is those who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination, or its recognized equivalent, from a recognized Council or Board in regular mode of study and who fulfill the following requirements:

Individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biology.

Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC), as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the, said qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary (10+2).

The candidate will have to qualify at the WBJEE, on the year of admission, or JEE (Main) for B. Pharm admission.

Residential/ Domicile Certificate required for Reserved Category candidates (SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC) for admission in Pharmacy course.

Age Criteria

To be eligible for admission, an applicant must have completed 17 years of age by 31 December of the relevant admission year. There shall be no maximum age restriction for eligibility.

B. Pharm (Lateral Entry) admissiom:

B. Pharm (Lateral Entry) is an undergraduate degree that is offered for a duration of 3 years.

Criteria:

B. Pharm admission through Lateral Entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree course , candidates have to pass diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy with at least overall 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

The candidate will have to qualify at the JELET(Pharma) organized by WBJEEB, on the year of admission.

Residential/ Domicile Certificate required for Reserved Category candidates (SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC) for admission in Pharmacy course.

Age Criteria: There shall be no maximum age restriction for eligibility.
